BIOSAFETY PROTOCOL
FOR VISIT GUATIKA KEEP IN MIND THE NEXT ADVISES
- We are selling online the zoo tickets, but you can also buy them at the zoo entrance.
- The day of the visit you must have your digital payment support ready at the entrance.
- Wait in the vehicle until we tell you to come out.
- You must comply with the national biosecurity protocols.
- You will find orange spots that will help you to keep distance. (Distance 1mt meter between members of the same group, 10 meters between groups).
- We will take your temperature and we’ll ask you questions related to your health.
- You must disinfect the soles of your shoes through disinfection mats before entry.
- Wash your hands frecuently at the washing stations.
- You must wear your mask all the time, covering your nose and mouth.
- Don’t touch anything that you don’t need and never cross the yellow lines, they are there to prevent approaching.
We recommend NOT using Waze to get to Guátika
Waze can send you through alternate routes that in many cases are hard-to-reach and impossible for any type of vehicle. The easiest way is to get to the center of Tibasosa (Boyacá) and from there ask anyone about the location of the Biopark. You can also identify different signs that we have arranged in the streets of the town.
We are THREE HOURS from Bogotá and only TEN MINUTES from the center of Tibasosa. Too easy!
GUATIKA BIOPARK
Guátika started as the dream of a Boyacense (person of Boyacá) to create a place where to house, in the best possible way, animals that because various reasons can no longer be in their natural habitat. Now, here live more than 500 animals (various species of domestic, exotic and wild fauna). We grew up and changed every year, we want to be the best zoo in Colombia with beautiful open and naturalized spaces.
Guátika is life, is water, is forest, is strength, is beauty, is love… but above all, Guátika is an unforgettable experience that marks every guest. In the more than 2 km of route you’ll can experience the beauty of the environment and the tranquility but also you’ll feel the energy that overflows in every corner, you can chat with our guides or if you prefer you can concentrate yourself on take beautiful shots.
